Tips for Using a Set of Knockrz

Here are some tips to help inflate and secure Knockrz for optimal use! We’ve been playing with our Knockrz for over five years and have enjoyed every minute. We have learned through trial and error what the process and techniques have worked best for us.

TIP #1 - To inflate Knockrz quickly, remove the valve completely and loosen the cap. Connect the blower to the bike trickle charge harness (make sure you’ve used the 20 amp fuse provided if the harness at the battery has a fuse holder. Most do.). Place the Knockrz close to where it will be used. Keep the blower nozzle about 1 inch from the valve hole and begin inflating. Be ready with the valve to quickly insert into the hole when the Knockrz fills the void. Inflate the Knockrz as much as possible and then screw the valve back in. Once the valve is snug (do not over tighten the valve), place the blower nozzle around the valve and finish the inflation. Place your hand on the Knockrz to feel when the inflation is complete.

TIP #2 - Secure your Knockrz! It’s important to keep the Knockrz in place by using bungee type straps, or rope. They do not need to be tight, but capable of minimizing the movement at the intended contact points. Obviously very important if being used in a truck bed or open trailer to keep the Knockrz from being lost.

TIP #3 - Clean all contact points before use. The Knockrz material sticks nicely to metal/chrome surfaces and will stay in place.

TIP #4 - Avoid contact with a painted surface. Powder coating seems to be pretty durable, but can still scratch if movement occurs. Just not worth the chance, and the best place is against the motor. Very important for all surfaces to be cool enough to touch.
